It’s Your World, We’re All Just Living in It

No, the world is not out to get you. You are out to get yourself. This doesn’t mean you should slack off on your responsibilities, but it does mean that you should act and then surrender the issue. Worrying and anxiety are fruitless endeavors, because what is going to happen is going to happen. We live in a world with a barrage of options, choices, and subsequently decisions. Decisions are the actions that you take which will lead to either seemingly beneficial or negative consequences. Consistent thoughts form beliefs which drive your actions. If you need a refresher, check out this previous post of mine.

Thoughts –> Beliefs –> Actions –> Consequences

This world is unique, and designed for you to succeed.

The world that we live is a manifestation of your POV, not multiple people. When you live life for you, you should never feel obligated to give from an empty basket. Your priority is to fill your own basket with whatever you could ever need and desire. Everyone has their own life to live, and we create that very life every second. The more you ponder over things that you don’t have or truly desire, the more you further yourself into ever receiving it.

The world is yours. Are you that person that constantly thinks about how others may perceive you? Some common thoughts are: Do they like me? Am I talking too much? I hope that insert horrible outcome won’t happen. Aren’t you tired of living like this? Do you really want to waste the best years of your life?

As soon as you start believing in thoughts such as these, you become powerless. You are giving away your power, when this is quintessentially your world. You can choose to live in whatever way you want. You cannot control what other people think about you. You can only control what you think of yourself in relation to the universe around you.

As simple as it sounds to change your belief system, it’s actually quite difficult. The longer you hold onto a negative/destructive belief, the harder it will be to correct it. Nevertheless, life is about changing and evolving into a better version than you are today. You have to do the work. This work is challenging, and it will unpack everything about yourself. The best way to describe this “work” is that it’s an indescribable transformation. When you’re ready to wake up, you have to be willing to do the work. I suggest that you take the risk, because what do you truly have to lose?

Insert Title

Do you realize that you are alive in the greatest time? We are living in one of the best times in history. One day our descendants will look back, and they’ll be amazed at how much we’ve accomplished. As a member of Generation Z, the reality of life seems bleak. We are experiencing: the grave effects of climate change, the rise of Trumps/Bolsanoros/Jinpings/Dutertes, and an ever-widening wealth disparity. There appears to be no hope.

We can all agree that the days of our parents and grandparents are over. Student loan debt, fleeting job market, evolving pathogens, etc… It’s not surprising that depression and anxiety are common amongst people. This world has a way of making you forget who you are, or why you are alive. Maybe there’s some “toxin” in the air or food. However, I’m here to tell you that we have the power to course-correct.

The future is ours. We have at our disposal a vast amount of: knowledge, technology, time, and energy. How are you using yours? No two minds think alike. We are at the edge of life as we know it. Abundance, creativity, and expansion are all characteristics of our universe. One day you’ll wake up with a new mentality, or a different outlook. Life won’t seem scary. It will feel like you belong, because you are here to do something of significance. The post title is so that whomever reads this can finally see themselves as the author of their own story. There is much more to be written.
