It’s Your World, We’re All Just Living in It

No, the world is not out to get you. You are out to get yourself. This doesn’t mean you should slack off on your responsibilities, but it does mean that you should act and then surrender the issue. Worrying and anxiety are fruitless endeavors, because what is going to happen is going to happen. We live in a world with a barrage of options, choices, and subsequently decisions. Decisions are the actions that you take which will lead to either seemingly beneficial or negative consequences. Consistent thoughts form beliefs which drive your actions. If you need a refresher, check out this previous post of mine.

Thoughts –> Beliefs –> Actions –> Consequences

This world is unique, and designed for you to succeed.

The world that we live is a manifestation of your POV, not multiple people. When you live life for you, you should never feel obligated to give from an empty basket. Your priority is to fill your own basket with whatever you could ever need and desire. Everyone has their own life to live, and we create that very life every second. The more you ponder over things that you don’t have or truly desire, the more you further yourself into ever receiving it.

The world is yours. Are you that person that constantly thinks about how others may perceive you? Some common thoughts are: Do they like me? Am I talking too much? I hope that insert horrible outcome won’t happen. Aren’t you tired of living like this? Do you really want to waste the best years of your life?

As soon as you start believing in thoughts such as these, you become powerless. You are giving away your power, when this is quintessentially your world. You can choose to live in whatever way you want. You cannot control what other people think about you. You can only control what you think of yourself in relation to the universe around you.

As simple as it sounds to change your belief system, it’s actually quite difficult. The longer you hold onto a negative/destructive belief, the harder it will be to correct it. Nevertheless, life is about changing and evolving into a better version than you are today. You have to do the work. This work is challenging, and it will unpack everything about yourself. The best way to describe this “work” is that it’s an indescribable transformation. When you’re ready to wake up, you have to be willing to do the work. I suggest that you take the risk, because what do you truly have to lose?
